Brandon Firla is an award-winning actor and writer currently best known for playing the charmingly sociopathic Clark Claxton III for three seasons on the hit legal sitcom Billable Hours. Most recently, Brandon has joined the cast of LIttle Mosque On The Prairie for season four in the new leading role of Reverend Thorne.
Some of his other credits include the feature Finn on the Fly, alongside SNL’s Ana Gasteyer; the Oxygen/CBC production of Margaret Atwood’s The Robber Bride, opposite Mary Louise-Parker; Lifetime’s Dawn Anna, with Debra Winger; Barry Levinson’s Man of the Year, with Robin Williams, Lewis Black, Christopher Walken and Laura Linney; and the Steven Spielberg/Tom Hanks HBO miniseries, Band of Brothers.
Brandon makes up one half of the Canadian Comedy Award winning duo, the Rumoli Bros. In the past few years this dynamic duo has made an indelible footprint on the Toronto theatre and comedy scene. A few of their accomplishments include: Late Nite with the Rumoli Bros, a talk show for Toronto International Fringe Festival, which was subsequently transferred to the Second City stage; the Dora Award winning musical satire, SARSical: the musical about a real showstopper; and most recently, An Inconvenient Musical at the Factory Theatre. This send-up of Al Gore's film and the climate crisis landed on NOW Magazine's Top Ten Comedy shows of 2007, and was nominated for a Canadian Comedy Award. Brandon and his brother have also written for Teletoon’s stop-motion animated reality series Life’s a Zoo.
He is a graduate of the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. |
