Born and raised in Montreal, David Kerr got his start in acting while attending John Abbott College, where he took on roles as diverse as Margeret Mead in Hair and Uncle Chris in I Remember Mamma.
After graduating from Ryerson's Radio and Television Arts Program, David attended the Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theatre in New York City. Since returning to Toronto he's kept busy by taking classes at Equity Showcase and studying improv at Second City as well as classes in stand-up at Humber College. A versatile actor comfortable in improv, as well as comedic and dramatic roles David can be seen playing Graham Lachance in CBC's Nerve. He has also made numerous appearances as a featured guest on Much Music's hugely popular show Video On Trial.
David has signed on to be the new roving reporter for the fifth season of Canadian Idol ariring on CTV. |
