Derek Thompson is an actor, writer and comedian and a member of the sketch troupe The Riot Act. Derek has worked as a contributing writer onOpen Mike with Mike Bullard and has been doing alternative stand-up around town for a number of years. Derek was also a Co-Host of Hockeyville on CBC.
Some of Derek's Film and Television credist include The Kids In The Hall, Elvira's Adventures In Comedy, Hacks, Sketchcom, CBC's COMICS! and ABC's Good Morning America. Derek was also in the film Ham and Cheese, hosted the show Unconventional and appeared on NBC's Late Night with Conan O'Brien.
